To ensure the great success of the 11th Congress and to provide a wonderful experience for the participants, Dr. Cynthia Eid, President of the International Federation of French Teachers (FIPF), visited Uganda in anticipation of the 11th Congress of Africa and the Indian Ocean (CAOI). This congress will occur from July 22nd to 26th, 2024, at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in Kampala, Uganda. Her visit marks intensive preparation for this five-day inaugural event organized by the Association of French Teachers in Uganda (APFO) and its partners such as the Embassy of France in Uganda, Alliance Française de Kampala, the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), CLÉ International, the Centre for Applied Linguistics (CLA) at the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon, France, RFI, TV5 Monde, Institut Français, and others.

The day was filled with numerous poetry, music, dance and theatre activities. schools, administrators, media, and other stakeholders were in attendance.
